In the past, we experienced significant interference from others using the same PMR channels, which disrupted communication. To address this, the club is switching from limited analog CTCSS codes to digital DCS codes, improving the chances of clear, interference-free radio transmission.
In spring we always organise the annual cleaning of our flying sites.
Meeting point: Saturday, 28 February at 9 am at one of our flying sites (Kautenbach, Michelau, Gringlay). It would be good if you could bring your own equipment. A rake or other garden material would be helpful. It would be better if you could organise a professional brush cutter. Even if you have nothing like this, your help is welcome. We will then give you tools.

In this seminar, the necessary knowledge for packing your own reserve is taught and then practiced hands-on in groups of two to three people. Participants pack their own reserve parachute themselves under professional supervision.
Due to recent changes in policy by Direction de l’Aviation Civile (DAC), visiting pilots are required to get a free guest membership before taking off from any of our sites.

The wind in your face, facing the valley, you pull some strings and feel your wing inflating. Suddenly your glider is over your head, you take a few steps, then feel how you get pulled into the air. You accelerate your path, and finally start flying.
A few minutes or even hours later you will either land in some remote field or you might have made it to the designated landing spot. After careful inspection of the surroundings and the wind conditions you approach the landing field, heading against the wind, correcting your path along the way and finally get in touch with the soil again.
The Cumulux Paragliding Club is the one and only paragliding club in Luxembourg and currently has around 80 members. We maintain three different sites in the north of Luxembourg. About 20 of our members are pilots who fly regularly and in all seasons.
Tandem flights are not easy to organise on our sites, they can only be realised under certain conditions. Look here for more details.
