The best of our three sites is situated in the narrow Sure valley close to castle Bourscheid. It features a large and easy launch and a long landing strip in the valley.
Parking
Please help us to make a positive impression. If you come alone, please leave your car on the street in the area of the Hotel Leweck.
Usually we will meet at the car park in the valley and drive up together. There should not be more than 1-2 cars at the take-off. In future, the municipality of Bourscheid will install a barrier and block the road anyway.
You should refrain from parking above the take-off. The farmer does not like it if we then walk through his meadow to the launch site.

Particularities
The military drone sector ELTSA06 begins directly 100m behind the launch site. Information on activation is published via Notam: ops.skeyes.be
DANGERS!
1. 2025 construction work on a future campsite: BEWARE of construction machinery!
2. In the event of construction work causing a safety risk, the Cumulux Paragliding Club may prohibit landings. This will be communicated by Whatsapp to all members and must be respected.
3. Keep a safe distance from power lines behind the take-off area and from the wind turbine SE of the take-off area!
5. Strong westerly winds: beware of turbulence. Use rather the 2nd landing field in the valley.
6. In case of strong southerly winds: do not fly due to turbulence caused by the west hill!
